Privacy policy
How ReelParrot uses your account information, content, and connected services.
Last updated: October 28, 2026
Who operates ReelParrot
ReelParrot is operated by Internet Marketing Solutions Inc. For questions about this policy or requests about your information, email chris@imsworks.com.
Information the app stores
- Sign in information: your username, email, account identifier, and a securely hashed password. These identify your workspace and let you sign in. We do not store your permanent password as readable text. Login codes and password reset requests use your account email.
- Your content: projects, scripts, uploaded and generated media, captions, drafts, and editing choices.
- Publishing information: destinations you authorize, scheduled dates and times, approvals, platform post identifiers, and publishing results.
- Connected service credentials: the API keys and social authorization tokens you choose to save so the app can perform the actions you request.
The app uses browser storage for workspace preferences and to keep logout behavior consistent across tabs. Hosting and connected services may process connection and technical information needed to operate their services.
How that information is used
We use this information to open your workspace, save and edit your projects, generate content you request, connect the destinations you authorize, send approved posts, and show publishing results. We also use information you provide when asking for support to respond to your request.
Account emails
Account setup messages, login codes, and password reset links are sent through our configured email delivery provider, Resend. The recipient email and message content are processed to deliver the requested account message. New account messages may include a temporary password that expires and must be changed after first login.
OpenAI and ElevenLabs
When you ask for AI writing or images, relevant prompts, supplied content, and scene descriptions are sent to OpenAI using your saved key. When you load voices or generate narration or music, relevant voice choices, scripts, or prompts are sent to ElevenLabs using your saved key. Generated files are saved to your workspace.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. OpenAI API requests made by the app request that Responses API outputs are not stored; this does not override the provider’s own processing and retention practices. Provider charges are paid through your provider account.
Facebook information
When you connect Facebook, ReelParrot saves your Facebook account identifier, the Page names and identifiers you authorize, and encrypted authorization tokens. This information lets you see available Pages, choose a publishing destination, and send posts you approve. Approved text, photos, videos, and captions are sent to Meta to publish to the selected Page. Posting identifiers and results are saved so the app can show the outcome.
Facebook group content is prepared for manual posting. You can disconnect Facebook and remove saved Facebook connection data, posting history, and drafts under Connected accounts. See the data deletion instructions.
TikTok information
When you connect TikTok, ReelParrot receives authorization tokens and account information used to identify the connected account and load its available posting settings. Your approved video, caption, privacy choices, interaction settings, and applicable disclosures are sent to TikTok when you publish or schedule that post. The app stores the publishing request and result so you can follow its status.
Hosting and security
ReelParrot uses database and file storage hosted on Cloudflare through ChatGPT Sites. Account checks on the server separate each user’s workspace. Saved API keys and social authorization tokens are encrypted on the server and are not returned to your browser after saving. Information is shared with hosting and connected providers as needed to provide the features you use.
Only upload content and connect accounts you’re authorized to use. Don’t include passwords or API keys in support messages.
How long information is kept
Projects, media, drafts, schedules, and publishing history remain stored until removed through the available app controls or by the operator in response to a verified request. They do not currently expire automatically. Connection credentials remain until removed, replaced, revoked, or deleted. Removing a credential does not automatically delete your projects or posts.
Hosting and outside providers may retain information under their own policies. Deleting a record from ReelParrot does not remove content already published on Facebook or TikTok.
Your choices and deletion requests
In Settings, you can remove saved OpenAI and ElevenLabs keys. In Connected accounts, you can disconnect Facebook or TikTok and use the Facebook data deletion control. The app also provides project and media deletion controls. Disconnecting a social account cancels queued posts for that connection that have not begun publishing.
For access, correction, or deletion requests, including deletion of your ReelParrot account and its saved content, email chris@imsworks.com from the email associated with your account. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request. See Contact for details.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as ReelParrot changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Contact us if you have questions about how a change affects your information.
